Um. If I may chime in here quickly. I had my tune done by Steve Kenniff at GMRC. Stock cam table. Runs 13.1 AFR @ 23psi constant under WOT. 301whp, 341wtq...

Paid $325 for the tune and spent all of 1 hour on the phone. No problems. No CELs and I've had the tune up and running for over 6k miles...

Best money I've spent yet and he backs it up 100%. Full support.

Man that is kinda lean but as long as you have had no issues. Good numbers if that was with just a tune and those are SAE numbers.

SAE numbers. I did several runs. Those were the best numbers I've pulled. I seem to average around 295whp or so at 12.8AFR still running 23psi constant.

I actually have a side note...

On my much less technical forum... Members have seemed to have problems with aftermarket tunes in regards to BOV springs being too weak, blowing out clamps and stock IC hardware, and throwing MAP codes left and right.

Is this something I can expect in my future?

I wont worry about the IC problems as I have ordered the Hahn IC/ charge piping as well as a Greddy BOV w/ recirc hardware but I wonder whats to do with MAP upgrades w/out having to hit up GM. Anyone aware of MAP/MAF upgrades anyway? Im looking into Innovate but havent seen anything other than a wideband which comes stock so....

a;lsdfkjasl;dfkjs. Whatever. lol

Well that is some ridiculous BS right there. Learn wtf your talking about before your go post something retarded like that again. You trust Vince?!? Lol it's because you don't know ANYTHING. The actual before and after gains from Trifecta tunes were pathetic to say the least.

25hp to 35 hp gains from a tune with a car with mods?!?! It's not even half what others are seeing. Learn what your talking about.

I wish I had the RPD or some way to view my AFR's...I know the timing is advanced with his tune but I am not sure to the degree. I have had it since febuary and put about 3k on the tune with dejon intake and no codes but really never put much thought into the AFR's...the exhaust pipe gets just as black as it did stock. gas milage is around 30 highway and 25 city. Put down 307 HP with the intake and muffler delete. Though a DI engine does not need that low of an AFR at all. I don't understand it. And if I do log my car and it gives out an AFR like that I will be upset for sure. Though the car does run fine never had it buck or bog at high RPMs or even low. I think Sherm's problems were just the second PCM is bad or something.

Ahhh ok.

The LNF uses the same Interceptor as the 2.2/2.4

Plugs right in and reads it, no extra bs needed.

PLX makes a better gauge IMO, but it costs more.

They are very sweet and fully customizable faces because they have an LCD display.

http://www.plxdevices.com/multigauges.html

DM-100 OBD would be a direct fit into the stock gauge pillar and would plug into the OBD II port like an interceptor

Only look way better, be able to data log in a graph style and have a really ******* **** display

Needless to say I would like to have one

I may look into this. The car runs fine but the gas mileage is down from stock not much though. What sucks though is I still have the stock DP and if it is running too rich bye bye cats for sure. I will give vince a call right now and see what he says though.
