Transmission Problems

Me and my bro in law are installing my new clutch but when we try to bleed it it is leaking from the bottom where the bell housing meets the stupid spacer disk(?) we thinks its the throw out bearing because there is brake fluid in and around it. Any help?

Did you pull off that bleeder manifold on top of the trans? Grab it and pull up and if it comes off that's your issue. Or if it doesn't and you took it off pull it off again and see if the seal is on the line or in the manifold it looks like a little top hat

How much fluid leaking are we talking about, a few drips or is it pouring out?

Try that and also, did you change the little pipe going from that manifold to the TOB? It's recommended to always change them because they tend to leak if you reinstall them

Is TFE (Thanked for Emphasis) a thing?

Its a small drip every like 5 mins and if your talking about the clutch pipe with the bleeder screw that has the nipple on top that you said looks like a top hat yes we had that problem where that nipple was missing and we bought a whole new pipe from gm and that isnt leaking anymore. Im buying one of those inspection cameras thats fits and flexes into small holes to see exactly where the leak is coming from when we try to bleed the clutch thanks everyone

Yes those are the only 2 you should use for our car. I'm using redline myself

Dont use gear oil. It has special additives that dont agree with our transmission.

Red Line MTL is in my car. It shifts easier when the gearbox is cold in the winter.

The best thing for the car is the stock fluid. If it's an LSJ, you can change to the stock LNF fluid
