has any one data logged the fuel trims with the straightener installed? curious to see how this one performs

 

any benefit to putting one of those things in a 3inch LSJ intake?

 

It would more than likely benefit any intake that you've seen crazy MAF spikes. Im even sure it work on other cars with 3" intakes.

I run a honeycomb airflow straigthener on my LS1 Camaro. It helps with fueling accuracy/consistency. If you understand anything about the physics of laminar flow, you'd know it's not a gimmick.

 

Yeah sorta why most gm v8/v6 engine used the honey comb Idea... I would be on this group buy but i want a sri not a cai. I have a hahn cai and i cant stand changing the filter lol!!!!

 

I second the SRI idea over the CAI.

wow, $400 for down-pipe/intake is a good deal...good quality..if i didnt need to put my clutch in right now, i would def get rid of my zzp intake and downpipe.

Any thoughts of maybe making a Short Ram Intake? Both for stock turbo (3") and maybe a 3.5" for your Stage 4 guys? I have a feeling that the Short Ram style will sell better than the CAI style purely because ppl are lazy and hate changing filters on them.

probably not enough to matter. it would be no different than any other SRI.

 

sri do take in a lot more temps if you live in like florida like me. Its already hot outside, therefore the engine is much hotter, so a cold-air style makes a big difference to me...
hell of a deal compared to original prices. most cai are 250-300 and catless downpipes are 135-200, so its now in normal market, plus the quality is great from what i hear...

 

Is there even any air flow to where the filter would sit on a CAI? is there any ducting that forces air into that area?
