You will get close Dart, very close. Get HP tuners and you will pass that with E85. Mine is at the wall with HP tuners with a trifecta base file and its at about where you want to be at.

im hoping to pass or meet it with a ported intake mani and ported tb. nobody has dynoed the gains yet but BYT says his car is pulling much stronger with it. i already have a intake mani and tb being shipped to him as we speak. plus a lightweight crank pulley and full bolt ons. we shall see. i just hate that theres no e85 available near me and not only that all we have is **** 91 oct.

The TR8 with the 5 1/2" length of the elbows butted up against it is 39" from center of outlet to center of inlet vice the stock IC's 38 3/4". That means each stock connector must be displaced 1/8" which is negligible. So the elbows fit laterally as they are.

The 4 1/2" fore-to-aft length of the elbow likewise fits as it is (of couse it's hard to determine precise locations due to the rubberiness of the connectors, but again, that also naturally forgives variations in placement).

The only fly in the ointment is that the stock IC inlets/outlets are slightly tighter than the aftermarket 2 1/2" standard by appx. 1/8". Recommend soapy water. Or you could add a packet of surgical lubricant (a penny apiece from this amazon retailer) to each IC shipment.

Due to the bends in the brackets, the crash bar must be loosened up so it stands off the car appx 1/4" before the brackets can slide behind it. However, I can see that no more bend can be put into the bracket on the end close to the IC, or the bolts couldn't be tightened.

I had to tighten the bracket-to-IC bolts (I bought stainless, backed by a stainless lockwasher and plain washer) before sliding the IC down behind the crash bar (felt like 10 to 15 ft-lbs). There is no tightening them after that. After lining up the bracket holes, I first tightened the inner crash bar bolts. This created the leftmost bend in the bracket shown below.
