So for those of you that didnt have to use a set of plyers on your elbows so that the couplers had something to seat against with the clamps, here are some photos of what I had to do to make these work.

Nice little pentagon shape

^I just realized how bad that pic looks... Im a righty...... really! Left hand does absolutely nothing for me.

And to see if it held pretty well, I put all my body strength into that coupler to see if I could pull if off. I couldnt.

Mine is coming tomorrow, by chance did you get around to making the "How to guide" yet for installation
Also, mine was sent before Friday, right when placed an order for the group buy. Do you think I got the flare outs or do I need to do the method above?

I think he said he flared them out for you. No how to install yet. I just got the clamps last night around 8:30. I won't be able to install today because I work 12 hrs. I will plan on going to work tomorrow at 1am and get my work done by 7am so I can install the intercooler
My car has major issues after I installed mine. It won't boost past 2psi and when it does the check engine light flashes and the car sounds like a Subi and shakes like hell. I tighten all the clamps down until I could see the couplers bulging.
A tip for the installation is to use rubbing alcohol on the couplers and piping the help slide them on. you only need enough to "lube" it up. The bumper reinforcement bar needs to come off with 13mm sockets. Good look on the ones in the middle and the intercooler needs to be supported while you reattach it. (two man job) Mount the couplers and clamps to the intercooler without the piping before you hang it. I rotated mine down so that they can be tightened after the intercooler was mounted.
A set of ratcheting wrenchs made my job a hell of a lot easier and I highly recommend them. I used sockets between 7mm-13mm for the installation. I think I pulled on the stock couplers too hard or something and may have damaging the sensor on the charge piping. I have to go to the drawing board. Sorry no pics guys but it took me a long time to get my bumper off for some reason. Looks great BTW!

Yeah that's what I was thinking because I was pulling on the coupler to give me some more "leverage" to get the piping in further.
Its weird becaise it rides fine until you boost it a little and then it all goes to hell. LOL

sounds like a boost leak. Car will run fine until you get into boost and the fuel trims go crazy negative (over fueling).
