I thought you could do this but when I asked CJ he said he passed the question on to you and he said you told him it could not be done. Maybe I will give you call later this week so we can talk.

Next thing you're gonna need a 10 position rotating switch to handle all the options!

I'm sure he can find a way to key it into the a/c direction knob. There's a good 20 stops on that thing!.

How many profiles can our computers hold? This is very good news indeed!

I don't understand why you would not want to spray all the time... a cooler intake charge is good all the time whether WOT or not.

If you do a basic kit set at 10psi your not going to be on it unless you go WOT anyway.

Eh... just my thoughts

What I would like to now is with these tables unlocked, can a stock turbo TC or swapped turbo TC make 350whp to 7k rpm? I am not looking for so much as a huge hp number, but a wider power curve. So a slightly bigger BB turbo to extend the rpm range and make more useful power under the curve is what I would be looking for. I'd like to have a 350whp DD that can safely pull to 7k and actually make power there instead of run out of steam.

Why do people recommend the 16G? Has anyone seen the K04 side by side with the 16G? Because it is very similarly sized. Also, SRT's have what is called a small 16G (versus an Evo 'big' 16G), and it runs out of air at about 5k rpm. The EVO 'big' 16G runs out about the same place the K04 does.

**This is just from my experiences and my research. Someone might be able to run the damn thing ragged and push some more, but w/e.

16g is not a good size for making more power. GT2876r or larger for more power.

^ fail. A 16g with 20g parts can make 450whp

which is rated higher or about the same as a gt28

I actually hate Garret turbos. They were good... 5 years ago. PTE or Airwerks is where the technology is at nowadays.

And, you didn't say a 16G hybrid. I was talking about a 'small' or 'big' 16g.

They're not that great. They work well for factory applications because they can take a beating, but there not the most efficient turbos out there. People nut the Garrett's because the ball bearing provides a slightly faster spool and on a 4 cylinder, a larger power band is very critical unless you're an all out drag racer.

troof. ZZP had a good write up explaining why the BW turbos are superior to equivalent garrett turbos. And yea, mitsus are kind of near the bottom of the barrel in performance, but there incredibly reliable.

BW and PTE are on the top of the game right now. They are very similarly equipped.

I like FP units. They're quite pricey but well worth it IMO.

Unless you are using the big wheel 16G that comes in the EVO's you will be very disappointed when it makes only 315 whp at 25 psi.
