It's a Hahn kit using a modified Mitsubishi 20G turbo.
MHI = Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, so it would be the same minus the portion that Hahn mods.

I happen to like my CIA stuff. Enough so that I have ALL their stuff. CAI, Boost tubing and down pipe. After buying the first piece, the catted down pipe, and installing it I decided to stick with CIA. Each and every piece seems to be well designed and manufactured using what I accept as the best materials. Fit and finish of each part is nothing short of beautiful. The under hood parts definately compliment my engine compartment and the down pipe not only improves the performance but sounds GREAT. The prices are not the cheapest around but I learned a LONG time ago through trial and a lot of errors (expensive errors) that cheapest is NOT usually the best. Neither is the most expensive. When you GET what you PAY for you got a good deal. Then you have to consider the PEOPLE you deal with at CIA. Dan is easy to talk to, communicates well and will make you feel like one of the family. He's been in the aftermarket business a while and knows the business.

With the exception of AEM's Silicone elbow blunder, and the SRIs that seem to be very difficult to get dialed in because of vastly fluctuating IATs. It just takes some tuning to get everything running much better with most if not all intakes.
you said it perfectly... i love how everyone says intakes are crap.. however, if you have a good tuner that knows what he is doing, that intake will actually help you out.
As long as your intake does not collapse at high levels of Vac. Because of the longer length of the CAIs though there can be a reduction in low end and midrange even when tuned for the intake. Tofu dynoed his car before and after his Injen intake and it gained 10 whp up top but lost power in the midrange.
Well, I've had my car back at the dyno with it running at 2600psi (it's been running that much pressure since I made this original post), it didn't seem to make a difference in the power, but I did notice it was leaning out at the end of the pull, so the high pressure pump might have been experiencing starvation.
We do know now, however, that raising the fuel rail pressure solves the fueling issues on upgraded turbos that require more fuel/RPM. I think it's public knowledge now that we are working with a company that made some ridiculous amount of power (over 500WHP if I recall) on the dyno (without any additional electronics and no throttle shutdown) using our fuel rail pressure tweaks, boost table mods, and wastegate table mods.
So, yes, it works, and solved the problem it was supposed to solve, but no it doesn't seem to have much use on stock turbo cars.
