theres nothing to be worried about. you order the tune, get the cable in the mail. upload the tune, go do some data logging, and once its all good you send back the cable, or keep it. the OP just didnt datalog and send them to vince, thats why hes having some problems. if you datalog and send the files to vince so he can tweak your tune, youl be fine. theres nothing wrong with going trifecta, im going trifecta myself.

I got a Trifecta dealer near by me in Jacksonville, NC. Soon as I get the money, I'm heading his way to get it done. He mention data logging to me. Looking for a tune to fix my fuel trims with the AEM CAI on GMS1 and have the Trifecta active in a switchable mode to be aggressive and safe of course. Looking close to 330whp and under 350tq (letting my stock clutch live for awhile).

1. A Trifecta tune is always "activated." You must mean you're getting the misfire code on the higher-boost tune.

2. DO NOT NLS with a tune. You might have already damaged something internally by doing this.

3. Have you removed the plugs and looked at them to see what color they are or if one if damaged?

4. If your misfire continues on #3, move the coil pack to another cylinder and see if the misfire moves with it.

5. Go buy new STOCK plugs and gap them to .032, then try again.

update:

swaped 3 and 4 checked all plugs and they seem to be gapped right i drove home and every once in a while put it in comp mode for the tune ran it and NLS 2nd to 3rd and it didnt do it all 5 times, its a once in a blue moon this that pissing me off. it does it with the backfire kinda like an O2 is reading something wrong at the time.

if i shouldnt NLS then why did they make the car able to do that. plus the tunes not always on its the hide a tune where if its not in compition mode its not active. the dealer doesnt know i have it they even checked to make shure i wasnt lieing.

Your lower-boost tune is still a Trifecta tune.

The car was not designed to NLS with an aftermarket, high-boost tune. If you keep NLSing while running a 22PSI tune, you're going to break something; if you haven't already.

havent yet and still under warenty for all i care. only use the tune when needed to. plus its boosting 25 PSI, dont ask me how but thats what the gage reads. like i mentioned it has like 2k miles total with use of tune all the rest is normal no boost everyday drive to work trying to keep it at 30 MPG average, thanks for you info and 2cents tho

Sorry but I have never heard of such a thing as NLS being dangerous to use with a tune. I was running Trifecta's 22psi tune and NLS 1-4 with no problems and no lights when I had Ron. Ran like a champ for all 12k that I had him from 2100 miles.
