Trifecta Tuned? Please vote!
Hey guys,
I'm doing a little research here and I'm trying to get an idea as to how many people got Trifecta through a local dealer, versus who ordered it through the mail.
Please vote as to which way you went!
Thanks!

Here's the deal....
We're considering expanding our Trifecta tuning service to offer the equipment through the mail like some of the other vendors here do.
I want to get an idea of how many got theirs through the mail so I know if it's worth it to spend the money for added equipment.

How? Is this something you have discussed with Vince? Granted it's not exactly difficult to get your hands on a traxis cable, and not to be a dick here, but now you'd be doing that much less work than a normal trifecta dealer would normally do to begin with.... and that's not really saying much considering how little a Trifecta dealer has to really do. All you would be doing is charge an inflated rental fee on the cable, forward log files off to Vince that the customer now actually has to make on thier own INSTEAD of the dealer, and then forwarding a tune file to the customer that Vince made back to the customer for them to reflash. The customer will be left doing all of the work here. It just sounds like some weird tuner pyramid scheme or something.. lol.. They might as well just go straight through Vince at that point and save the middle man. Again, I'm not trying to be a dick or **** anybody off but it just doesn't make sense to resell what is already a mail order tune like Trifecta through the exact same medium when the whole idea of a dealer is to cut down on the overall price for the customer and make the experience more personal by actually dealing with someone in person.
Please try not to get bent out of shape and turn this into a pissing match. I'm seriously asking a legit question.

It's cool, I'm not upset. Your post would actually make sense if someone COULD go straight to Vince for a tune through the mail, but he doesn't do that. You have to go through a dealer, like Clear Image Automotive.
Yes I've talked with Vince in great detail actually, and you are right, you can get tactrix cables in a few places. However, the tactrix cable is only good for 2005 and up vehicles, and doesn't work with the LSJ.
Also, we would charge our already lower price for the tune, shipping, and refundable security fee. Unfortunately that is needed to ensure we get the equipment back!
