TTR Tranny Inserts, Help!

So guys I got the TTR engine mount and the tranny mounts... the engine mount when in great... taking off one of the tranny mounts went great... taking out the tranny insert was a bit harder... but now I am trying to get the TTR insert in the tranny mount and it is not working at all!

It just seems to damn big... I shaved off one of the lips... still nothing! I have used vaseline and WD40.... still wont go in. I just dont know what to do...

p.s. I do not have a bench vice which ppl were recommending...

Any help?

Also y would you run more solid mounts?
the TC doesnt have wheel hoop so no need for them. the mounts are plenty solid and gm fixes the wheel hoop on out ss/tc's

lay mount on table, floor whatever
grease insert, push it in at an angle as far as you can,
take a bfh (big ******* hammer) and hit the top part of the insert.... don't be a ***** and tap it, hit that ******,
it'll pop right in and you'll be set

Any luck? If not you could try sticking the bushing in the freezer and the mount in the oven, just keep the heat fairly low (200F). Leave them for a few hours. This will cause the bushing to shrink slightly and the mount to expand slightly. Then use the methods described above.

Thanks guys... I gave up haha I found a machine shop near my house. I asked if they could get it in; the owner was really nice and did it for free. Took them like 2mins haha

LNF DOES have wheel hop from 1st to 2nd gear. I bought the TTR mounts and i brought them to Sears and had them install them for 90 bucks. they have a press which makes it sooo easy.
