Ive heard alotta ppl on here talk about trifecta tune and hp tune. what would be the best overall tune for my cobalt? i have a aem cai on it right now but when i get back from my upcoming deployment im gonna put some more mods on it like pressure pipe, catless dp with mpx exhaust, and maybe intercooler pipes.

 

depends what you want and if you have a tuner near you. Trifecta will give you a good gain, but hp tuners will be more and you will need a tuner near you to write you a tune.

 

are there any tuners in the shreveport, la area? or maybe dallas?

 

youll be more likely to find someone with trifecta in your area also just a heads up, or you can buy hp tuners and get sent a tune.

 

That option will cost you a pretty ass penny.

You can find a used hptuner for like $300.

 

And depending on the tuner a tune could cost anywhere from $50-250 bucks. Depends on who u ask I guess lol

How safe is HP?

 

Only as safe as the Tuner makes it.

HPTuners gives you the ability to fully customize a tune. Its not a set tune. Its not a slider bar that you slide back and forth from "slow" to "fast". If someone doesn't know what they're doing... they can blow your car up in less than a minute.
