Tune Questions

Okay so I think I am about to take the plunge and order HP tuners. I want the flexiblilty to be able to flash back to stock or change my tune with mods, and switch between e and pump and I don't know of any tuners in my area so I guess I will just have to buy it myself. 1st question is go with the standard or the pro? 2nd question what is better for e, hp tuners or trifecta? 3rd I am not a tuner so how much do you tuners out there charge for a file?

1. standard is fine for an lnf
2. hp tuners I persoanlly think is better all together, just my 2 cents tho
3. idk, depends on the tuner, but there is the tune repository on hpt.com, but its not terribly difficult to learn everything if you have time to actually learn, didnt take me long at all to understand everything

A few of us can email tune and log you if you find it is too difficult. Prices vary. PM me if you want details.

HP all the way son... GREAT for all things tuning and works on alot of different cars and trucks. I am running an E mix with mine right now... I bought it for the same reasons you did. Initially it is a pretty good size financial hit but if you can, be patient and look for one used, I picked mine up with all 8 credits for 350shipped if I recall correctly.

damn that's a good deal! Unfortuantely I have no patience I think HPT is the way to go since I do want to learn how to do the tuning myself and that would be better than constantly having to email back and forth plus the new tables on HPT seem to be the way to go. The last time I filled the gas tank I paid $4.19/gal for 93 so I am ready to stop making BP rich and switch to e85. Can't wait
