tuning saturday...what to expect
Because no matter how fast you go, the radio is faster...and there is, believe it or not, more than 1 cop in this world. Granted, you could run and get away, but likely he will radio ahead and they'll get your ass.
That being said, I was going a bit too fast (120ish) on a Ninja ZX-9 and saw a cop heading the other direction. He immediately hit his lights and went to turn around. I opened up the throttle a bit and a couple exits later at 140mph I took the exit, a couple random turns, and headed home happy. One of the stupider things I've done, but bikes always make me a little stupid.

It takes you a matter of seconds to get out of sight of the LEO and be on your way home, also remember that most LEO's are not extremely familiar with cars. An officer tried giving me a reckless driving ticket this summer when a white LS1 Camaro and black LS1 Trans Am were messing around, quite frankly I do not see how my Cobra looks like a Trans Am at all minus both being coupes and having 4 wheels.
Yes the radio is faster, but you have the odds on your side believe it or not. Just don't stay on the same road, and get off the roads asap. Pull into a business of some sort and let them break off the search (which might last 5 minutes assuming you didn't rob the bank or something.)
I do not encourage people to run from police, I'm just saying it's not as hard as a lot of people make it out to be as long as you have a decently quick car.
I'm not the bandit but I have made a couple turns after seeing a Cop hit the lights and turn around . One time i was doing 15 over and by the time he got turned around..... I was already around a blind corner and turned up a side road ...... he went flying past so I carried on my way 8).
Another time I was on my Gsx-r 600 and passed another one going the opposite direction at well over 100.... same deal except I pulled into a friends driveway and parked the bike behind the house . He went right on past with lights and siren's going .
My thought is if you can get out of eye sight for 15-30 seconds or so .....there are alot of option's that open up ..

the downside of it is what if you do get caught.. then the cop is deffffff gunna give you your full speeding ticket rather then maby being a nice guy and lowering it so you wont have your lisence taken away ANDDDDDD you get avoiding arrest (or we its called) so then your reaallllyyyyy fuckkedddddd

austin lindsey he tuned mine, and no i didnt austins pulled 2 cars on me and we left the evo....i raced the evo side by side right after and he got me by a fender from a 40 roll so im hoping with the update on my tune ill take him pretty easy
Nice he the guy with the fake carbon paint?
retuned last night, RPD still shows 20-21 psi...but supposed to be a 23 psi tune. Anyone know if the RPD reads low? raised the rev limiter to 7 grand, that helped out a ton...
It'll take vince a few times to get it right. Took 4 times to get me to 24 PSI. Plus its cold out right now, colder air = less boost to reach the programmed power level.
25 psi and your going to start pushing your turbo into failure and cause more stress on your ringlands. Remember more boost does not equal more power. There are plenty of people on HP tunes making more power than Trifecta at lower boost levels ~22psi.
The boost is going to give you more power to a certain point but then you start creating too much heat. The reason why HP tuners get more HP is because they run the motor a little leaner than Vince will. Vince knows his stuff but for safety's sake he leaves it a bit conservative on the timing and fuel side. HP really gets the power flowing when you use Vince's tunable base file and write over that with the HP file.
By more boost doesn't equal more power I meant with our stock turbos. Spinning it past it's efficiency range isn't going to generate more power. It runs out of breath and like you said just creates too much heat.
hahaBut im probably gonna get BYT to drive down sometime this spring after I get my new FMIC and a Catback!
