Post tunning over gm stage 1

would this be any other gain on the stock turbo even if my turbine is at 100% efficiency and cant boost any more. i have the new boost tables so no boost drops and im at 23.5 psi. Vince said i cant go any more. will the 3 bar sensor help me out with tuning over it with trifecta. im just wondering what else i can do to make the car faster on the stock turbo. Vince mentioned something about the wastage. don't know what he really means?

That was the wastegate he was talking about it sounds like. That's the valve that controls how much boost you end up getting. When it opens, exhaust gasses bypass the turbo's exhaust turbine and go right out the exhaust, but when it's fully closed, all the exhaust gases are used to spool the turbo. The ECU controls how open or closed the wastegate is on our cars.

The rest of your question may be answered on your other post in the other thread.

No Pat, you will not see anymore gains using a 3bar map with the Trifecta tune. Vince can already fool the ecm to boost past 255kpa (hense the 23-24psi you are making). HPTuner guys are getting results from the 3bar map quite simply because now they can tune beyond the 255kpa threshhold without any trickery like the pill mod

+1

and here's my post from the other thread

So, to answer your question, no. You're "golden"
