Turbo size in millimeters?

What is the size of the turbo in a 2010 ss? I can not find it anywhere! Ill watch street racing videos and someone will ask the size and they"ll say "blank" Millimeters. I just would like to know the stock size.

It's a k04 turbo. There really isn't a specific sizing for this as there are different kinds of k04's. Good for 350 Crank HP or about 300whp on pump gas with bolt ons.

Pictures always make those wheels look so much bigger than they really are.

Keep in mind that the inducer diameter (in case of the compressor wheel would be the outer edge of the blade/fins) gives a good idea of the general abilities to move air mass and can be used to make generalized comparisons within the same family of turbochargers, people spouting off a number for bragging right probably don't have the best knowledge of turbochargers in general. The blade designs, mass, exhaust side turbine design, housing and back pressure, etc. all play a very big part in how much power a specific turbo will make on a specific application.

If someone asks what turbo the Cobalt has stock I normally just say a twin-scroll, larger K04 and leave it at that. Chances are even if you provided the inducer diameter they wouldn't know what it means and you shouldn't worry about what they think.

You got that right. You could say, "The compressor has a 43mm inducer." and they will immediately walk over to their buddy and say it is a 43 trim turbo.

He is saying that it is a bolt-on turbo upgrade for the LNF.
