Give me a call if you want to discuss.

I got my winter beater cheaper than a set of winter tires before mounting and balancing.
97 cavalier for $700. 95,000 miles.
Insurance went down since it was listed as my primary car driven during the winter (which it is).

Yea i went to my insurance two days ago to see about buying a 91 dodge shadow for winter and making it my primary vehicle and they said my ins would go up about 300 every six months which is insane imo, im already paying around 1500 every six months which i don't mind, but insurance going up for switching to a junk primary vehicle is crazy
Yeah it was kinda fun rippin' da e-brake on the 94 dx lol. I bought it for 500 and threw about 300 in parts into it and a $35 ebay short ram. Little bastard got 39 mpg but it only had about 80 whp. My cobalt felt like a damn rocketship when I took it out of storage!
Get a beater, I've had my 2000 Focus wagon with some cheap CDN Tire snows on the front for a couple winters now, it was cheap and gets the job done.
If you look around you can find some good deals for under a 1000 bucks (there are over 200 beaters listed on autotrader right now) and save your nice ride for the summer

I would suggest a beater as well. Look around and you can find something good and cheap. I got a 97 Saturn SC2 5-speed with a 100K on it for 800 bucks. Now my balt will stay dry, warm, and salt free...which means no nasty rust all over the car. Plus it will give you peace of mind knowing that your balt is sitting safely at home!
Those will last just about forever, just check the oil! And they are fairly good in snow. Most old Saturns burn a minimum of 1 quart of oil every 3k miles lol. I used to own a 94 SL2 as a daily driver, well maintained, the only part I replaced was the stock clutch at 200k miles (other than normal maintenance parts). Well, I did yank out those stupid automatic seat belts and replace them with standard belts...
