has anybody successfully ran a upper charge pipe that has a flange in it with out a bov functioning? I'm running the zzp charge pipe with zzp bov and asked them if they made a block off plate. they said they made a prototype but just use the zzp bov don't hook up the vacuum line and it will hold itself shut. It worked for about a week till i blew the o-ring so i was wondering if there were any other options.

 

Why arnt u wanting to use the bov?

Plus in place of oring u could use gasket maker

 

dont wanna deal with cels, turbo flutter, shimming bypass all of that to just have a sound mod even if i do do all of that it still might not run right

 

What tune u got? I'm installing one cause of turbo flutter. Zfr sounds crappy with bpv. I'm guessing ur on stock turbo? Why don't u just sell the pipe and bov and get a pipe with no flage

 

I'm on a trifecta tune now and i was gonna do that but I wanna turbo swap next winter but today i shoved a 1 inch nut on top of the bov spring to hold it shut ftw lol
