upside down intercooler???
So, after a long day of installing parts, i looked at my intercooler after the bumper install and it looks upside down!!!
If it is, will this cause problems and is it cooling properly this way?
I know this is completely stupid, but there was no info on the install or labeling saying top and bottom

yeah, the new revised zzp.
now there is a gap in the mouth of the bumper though. the only reason i mounted it the way it is because the other way seemed to not fit properly, but didnt realize the gap till i walked away to look at it when the bumper was put back on.
Isnt one side bigger than the other as far as pipe diameter for the hot and cold sides?

honestly, if it really doesnt change the cooling, then it is staying. ive been working on my car for 9 hours today and im tired.
i swear, this car was made by midgets because there is no room to put my hands anywhere!!!

upside down or do u mean backwards, pretty sure upside down wouldnt work cause the holes for the cp would be on the top instead of the bottom and would not line up at all.
Our higher clearance IC should have the flat sides of the end tanks on the bottom. The parts of the end tanks that meet the core on an angle go on top. It shouldn't affect the cooling, but you are not taking advantage of the increased ground clearance.

Either way. if it is cooling properly, i will leave it alone. btw, this was a very nice piece and great quality.
