just did some calculations if i run the 2.5l crank from the 4th gen with a 90 mm bore that comes out to a 2.6L, damn, that'd be dangerous, I might have to do this.

I was a little worried about the fitment of the fluidampner i ordered, it said it was only for the le5 solstice, i was worried it might not fit but it looks like it will work perfectly. So thats good news.
Im trying to finish a couple side jobs right now so i can have more spending money for the project, i want to get started on the short block, i need to get the darton sleeves and have them installed. I still need to call wiesco and see if they will make me lnf pistons in a 90mm bore. I hope so. I think im going to work on porting my head today, i want to put the big valves in a ported head with the stage 2 cams, i hope it idles horribly, is that strange of me?
Plus im still waiting on my tubing to show up so i can start building the turbo manifold and 4" downpipe.

Matt says the idle on the stage 2s is ok because of the variable cam timing. at idle keep the timing flat to get the rough idle if that's what you want
