Vararam Industries LNF Intake Update....
Im pretty sure the initial prototyping will be done at their shop and once they get a decent fit and finish will have 2 or 3 prototype intakes running on different cars to compare data. Rest-a-sure, the people involved in this project will make this a quality product.
By the time I get it it will be test fitted and data logged on another car out in texas. I want to see if it can top my best time of 4.52 seconds 60-100 at 22 psi.

He is supposed to send me one to try out and data log to see how it performs. Gotta build and test the prototypes before that though.

I think I need to get one to, to test at the track lol. No, but really I will buy one for sure after its out for a month or two.
This intake should be in another league as far as performance is concerned.
No, it is definately faster than stock with the Hahn intake on the car. Stock airbox was about half a second slower from 60-100. I am hopeing that this intake will be even better because it should be a functional ram air intake.

Term
What do you feel is going to be needed as far as R&D time and then to get it produced?Price point? $300 was put out there but if the RAM air intake incorperates the hood it could be alot more. Correct??Very interested either way!I wanted a ram air hood for the 06 lol I am sure this will be much better, lol
It won't incorporate a hood.
It'll most likely be a snoot that's located behind our grill, going back to where the airbox is on stock TCs.
Another option is to grab the air lower, like they did on the 'Vettes, but then you have the IC flow impedance and water ingestion issues.
