I have a turboxs catted dp right now and wanna get something a little louder. i just took off my intake so it sounds quiet to me. i was thinking either magnaflow or borla. is the sound that much different? im looking for something loud but not too too loud. and what inlet/outlet do i need? and if u can post link where to find them cheap that would help a lot as well. thanks in advance!

 

i have a catless downpipe with han exhaust and i love it low rumble at idle gud roar at daily driving speeds and sounds beast at wot... i had the hahn catted downpipe and it was way quieter. i think if u go catless downpipe with either a hahn zzp or treadstone you would be gud..others will chime in soon and giv u their views on their setups but im in love with mines. plus my exhaust looks stock if you was looking at the bac of my car it looks like i didnt even go aftermarket til u hear it. old pix

 

i dont wanna spend big bucks and i wanna stay legal, and im only looking into getting a muffler. thanks for the input tho

 

i dont have a check engine light and i dont get noise tickets....you could always cut off your muffler / i have a friend with a borla but its on a SC one.

 

I was in your exact situation a year ago. Here's what I gOt. A 3" inlet 3" outlet round Borla xr-1 muffler from summit racing. Very quiet under normal driving, and no drone, but had a nice, deep sound
