what exhaust do ya'll suggest?

Im buying a 2008 cobalt turbo in two weeks. What type of exhaust and headers should I get for it?

You don't need a "header" on this car. This car doesn't have a "header" it has an exhaust manifold with a turbo flange. There are no aftermarket alternatives to the stock exhaust manifold. The only real thing you need to increase performance on the stock turbo is a downpipe. A catless downpipe is one of the best mods you can do for this car. The stock catback is good till just over 350 whp, which you won't hit on the stock turbo without major work and pushing the stock turbo too far. A catback will just look nice and change the sound a bit. Check out ZZPerformance.com for all the cobalt engine performance parts you could ever need.

Alright thanks. I was also told i need to get a hks i think blow off valve, aftermarket intake and either my ecu flashed or a programmer. What do you think about that?

I think more time lurking on this forum will help give you better insight. If your friends are the ones suggesting getting a HKS BOV for a stock turbo I would suggest leaving the honda group and talk to people that know more about our cars. I have a full 3" hahn turbo back and love the sound. Look on youtube for video clips to find the sound you like.
