What is needed?

Hey guys,

I am in the process in possibly buying an SS/TC. I am not to o familiar with all that can be done to these cars besides the obvious.

I have been reading posts on here about cars that are running close to 370hp and torque on the stock turbo but dont show all the mods or what s done to get those numbers.

My question is what is needed to achive those numbers on the stock turbo besides the normal stuff?

Thanks

You would need all bolt-ons, meth and a awesome tune and you would be around 350 ish

Pretty much every bolt on and a good tune should get you about 330 WHP, which could equate back to about 370 at the flywheel.

Why would you say meth? Has there even been anyone that has successfully installed and ran meth on TC's

Water/meth is good an ANY FI application. esp ones with small turbo's spinning their ***** off and out of the efficiency zone.

It also helps with the injection window issue, as it's adding a few % of the fuel load upstream where is can be thoroughly atomized.
We used it on Sky888's car to help make 373whp at 20psi.

Bottom line: YES you should stick water/meth on your car. Keep the tank full. Get a progressive controller as well.
It makes LNF's happy!
