What parts after ZFR?

So I am fully bolted, clutch and 7163... what would be the consensus on pushing big numbers? I would like to say I am on a budget, the idea of going fully built top to bottom doesn't really appeal to me.

My understanding is the LNF engine is good for 360-390WHP ish with a good tune.

Would just doing pistons get me 450WHP?

Thanks for the input!

I've been running 440whp for 2yrs now 100% stock engine, so I can't see why it's not doable on a 7163.

The lnf can take little over 500 whp stock, don't know where ur getting 390 from. I also run 450whp stock motor. I wouldn't go more than that. And yes agreed with these guys, save money for upgrades trans. To make urs last, get a boost ramp tuned in, get tuner to tune the torque down , don't give her in low rpms , 3k and above , rev match, don't rape on it all the time. Proper driving will make ur tranny last the longest. I'm at over 6 months , a lot of hard pulls for tuning meth injection, all iv lost is a clutch so far , I pray my trans will hold

F35 transmissions are nearly impossible to get ahold of ive noticed.. suppose if mine exploded id be a lot more motivated to find one!

But the fact that there isnt even any of ebay for example makes me worried just the same.

I also pray nothing goes wrong, the trans I have has 30,000 miles on it.. I learnt my lesson after my first warranty replacement lol.

How do you like the 7163 so far?

Did you upgrade from the 6758 or K04?

I ordered some NGK 3787 plugs for one step colder, see what all the difference, if any, is. Out of curiosity, are any of you guys running different heat range plugs?

no no no no no. stick with stock. nothing but stock. these motors don't like anything but stock for the most part, especially not one step colder, been there, did not like that.

I love when they do that. Now I just have to wait until the dollar gets better.

I wondered about that. I'm not sure what would happen in that case.

Tom, what was your experience with the ngk 3787s. I know LNFs are very picky, just seeing if mine likes them, i needed them changed anyways and got a good deal.

Like Tom said, don't do it. I tried and it was alright for a little bit. But some time after I started to get the "machine gun" pop or aka the injector seal pop. Check engine light flashing. Check engine was for a misfire. Only made the noise at high rpm and I swapped stock plugs back in and bam, all noises and check engine lights gone. Stock ac delco are all I'll ever put in again

I just bought a 10 pack of NGK (6668) LFR6A spark plugs, working great so far. Copper is supposed to be mint

I work up north for weeks at a time, its actually getting installed in about a week, so I can post results later. Will be dynod in a month or so I imagine.

Upgrading from the stock k04 on 25psi, I was actually thinking of doing a dyno run on my stock k04 then a few weeks later with the new ZFR (i know its not totally comparable on different days, but still some good info to share)

im not sure if they were the same ngk ones, don't remember the name, but I tried ngk one step colder years ago, they worked, but my car sounded like it was gurgling and lost performance, which was noticeable. even some people asked what was wrong with my car as I drove by. not trying anything other than stock again.
