What is the top speed of the LNF with a clear image tune?
^^^ Good question. I imagine that it can go faster simply for the fact of more HP and a lot of tunes adjust the limiter. But there has to be a limit that this engine can take. I don't have much to add considering, I've never gone past 130 in the balt, and topped out at 140 in my PGT.
Seems like the turbo or cams were limited up that high.
Not really sure. Just know that with Hahns tuner you can up the rev limiter to 7k in 1st and 2nd gear, wasnt sure if it helped or was needed, or was just for the hell of it.
The coupe and sedan LNF's will pull all the way up to the limiter with the low wing or wingless. There is some question from a mag review if the coupes with the high wing will do 155 because of the drag of the high wing spoiler. I have seen posts that say they will. No personal test of that from me yet.
But I THINK the idea Hahn had was to do it so you didn't have to concentrate so much on watching the tach for when you get near redline in 1st and 2nd since they rise pretty quickly. So just to leave some room so you don't bounce off the fuel cutoff.
I think that's why they did that.
I agree with some of the others. With a stock turbo I don't see that there's any real power in that range.
Ahhhh.... so maybe the Magazines weren't lying. Unless they indicated the speedo read as such.

It all depends on conditions. If you are rolling down a hill, you may be able to tap 160, but the gov will slow you down below 155 when It realizes its error. Its not how fast you can go though, its how long it takes you to get there.

Thanks for the update on the top end. I have a low rise coming to lessen the 'I want to race you' factor while I'm doing my daily drive but another reason was to cut down on the drag for the speed runs in sleeper mode. It's nice to see real world posts on what she'll do.
The TC has a 155mph speed limiter stock. If the tune raises that than It would probably see 165-170. I had my tuner raise mine to 199 but the car runs out of gear at 177 so it will never see that kind of speed.
Chevrolet and many car magazines rated the top speed "in excess of 160MPH" But it was also rated to do 0-60 in 5.7. We all know that this car can best 5.7 in 0-60, because it's been done. I believe the fastest documented stock TC was 167 MPH.
