that is what i'm saying, if the top speed was 130mph I wouldn't complain, as I will never see those speeds again, I was just bored one night, on a long stretch of highway with no other cars on the road and decided to see what it had...

its like tards in a tard ass grabbing fest.

THERE IS NO SPEED GOVERNOR ON THE SS MODELS!!!

THE SC AND TC ARE LIMITED ONLY BY THEIR GEARING AND RPMS

its called drag limited top speed. there is no computer that kicks in at 155 and says, "hey mr. engine, you are going to fast"

all of you slap yourselves.

Dear Lord, one of you has a brain.

I can't believe there are 3 pages of this nonsense.

And there is a reason for this..... ready, it's so simple.....Z Rated tires from the factory....GASP!

No personal test of that from me yet.
156 with the high wing on the SS/SC.....suspension stability over bumps starts deteriorating so the foot left the throttle.

well if it has no limiter im happy becuase i remember my when i hit 110 in my explorer with 4.11s omg was that scary the fuel would shut off at 110 and the truck would nose dive horribly then when it droped to 108 fuel would return and the car would shoot up again lol it was fun but a drastic limiter like that makes the experience very scary

There is a Gov.... I have an SS/TC, and its pretty apparent when you hit it. The 160 MPH published could be due to speedo conversion error. These cars seem to be about 2% off from the factory if you look at a GPS next to your shown MPH.

Z-Rated tires only mean 149+, They actually come with Y rated tires good to 186MPH.

It doesn't mean the car will go that fast. I love my car and I know its fast, but there is a gov there.

i had my base modle balt up to 120 it took forever and the car felt really really light past 105
my ss/sc i have had to a gps verafied 165mph (on a closed abandoned 10000foot runway) i have a intake header dp exhaust and a tune and the car felt really solid, she had a little bit more in her but we were running out of runway lol. 0-150 came pretty quickly but after 155 it really started to struggle high rise wing also
