Hey all, on Gm acessories store the gmpp exhuast for our cars is listed as the 2.0 2.2 2.4 etc, but on gmpp.com its not listed as 2.0. I didnt check the part numbers but im assuming they are talkin about the same one. Are they not compatible with the 2.0? Or is the touring/performance come stock on the car, or is stock better. Sorry i searched forums few times couldnt find much.

 

Im no expert but i think that those exhausts are for the lsj and not for our cars. Our cars come stock with a stainless 2.5 mandrel exhaust anyway.

 

I know the GMPP sport and touring exhaust fit the SS/SC so I would assume that they would fit the SS/TC (both are 2.0). However you are better off staying with the stock exhaust as on the SS/TC it is 2.5" all the way through where as the GMPP exhaust is only 2.25". Honestly I think the stock exhaust flows really well on the SS/TC and really the biggest choke point is the downpipe. So I'd say your best bet is to go with an aftermarket downpipe first (i.e. CIA, ZZP, or Hahn) and see how you like it, then from there if you aren't happy look into a nice 3" aftermarket cat-back system (I hear Hahn's is nice). However gains will be minimal unless you get a tune.

 

they have 2.0 (LNF) listed, but with ecotecadd said, he does make sense, and i dont think im serious enough to go get a downpipe
