have a balt sstc 09, there is a humming moise coming from the wheels whether your in gear or just coasting. noise gets louder as car slows down to like 30mph, the fequency of noise seems to pitch higher as speed increases. wheel bearing, cv joint???

 

If it gets worse or clicks while turning CV shaft, From what you described it sounds like a wheel bearing.

 

Does the road surface affect the loudness or pitch of the sound?

 

had this prob with my 05 LS. took it in and they said my brakes were sticking.
