whinning noise

whinning noise

Im hearing whinnig noise from the front end of my car. Sounds like a cracked opened window. I only hear it around 30 mph and up and it gets louder as the speed increases. What could it be?

Does it do it on accel and decel? I had a problem with the half shaft in my trans and it was making a whining noise.

just got the tranny replaced. the only thing i know thats bad is the throw out bearing

Its an aluminum block supercharged engine. It is going to make a high pitched whine. Anyways, the Cobalt isn't exactly quiet in the face of air flow.

that'd be the best route IMO. Turbo swap is easier than new tranny.

my car started to make a whistle type noise for a bit, then lost all boost
They replaced the turbo in it...never told me what it was...
Listed on the paper as "turbo malfunction"
