BTF can hook you up with rod and piston combo that will allow you to use the LE5 crankshaft (98mm stroke) producing 2277cc's.
I don't think I'm understanding why we would need a custom set of rods and pistons. Of course I have never tried this I am only basing it off of the specs from GM. According to the specs the rods are the same (measurements) between the LE5 and LNF

I understand that compression may change. I will look at the piston specs as the dish seat will change.

Looks like the LSJ and LNF have a bigger piston pin than the LE5 which would be negated by using the LNF rods.

But I think the big thing I have been missing while using the LNF block is the Stroke will extend the piston dish hitting the head.

But That wouldn't matter if We used the LE5 block.

(I'm not claiming to be an engineer I am just throwing out ideas because thats what I am an idea man)

If you go on ZZP's site under the "coming soon" link they have there stroker motor in there and they talk about a custom keyway for the balancer on the crank but not the crank itself.

well im running a wild set up. getting ready to put it back in the car soon. 2.2 gm racing block. bates sleeves bored to 90mm. custom je pistons made to bates specs. stock lsj rods and crank. gm racing port and polished lsj head with springs and retainers ti. zzp stage 4 plus clutch with ss/tc throw out bearing. tvs with meth spraying under the tvs 10 gph nozzel. i have 5 and 7 gph also. gonna play with that to see what works out. but the 10 is in there now. hopefully number soon. but on point of this thread. u can take a stock lsj block and have bates sleeve it and bored it to 90mm. use his je pistons and u have a 2.2 with no bing pain in the ass. if u use a block like mine and lsj accessories u run into problems like i did.

Gen 2 Ecotec block (stronger and better cooling)
ZZP 4340 H-Beam forged Connecting Rods
Wiseco designed, JE built forged pistons. Moly coated, extra deep valve reliefs
ARP studs
Fidanza aluminum flywheel
Custom extra long crank keyway eliminates balancer failures
Precision balanced w/o internal balance shafts
ATI SFI rated harmonic balancer

This is for the LSJs. At least the pistons are.

The rods they are using should also work with the LNF.

I have emailed BTF I will see if I can get a response. I think he dropped from being a vendor to focus on machining

Ok so if your using a 2.2 block with the LSJ rods and crank with a bore. Basically you destroked your 2.2L then bored it so technically you are running de-stroked motor.

I am talking about adding stroke to it not bore. I would like to add displacement without boring the engine.

If I can achieve this with just adding a 2.4L crank and Flywheel with optional forged pistons and rods. Then the cost to do this would be very minimal. Around 1k installed using just the crank and flywheel.

That is an lsj they are talking about yes but aside from putting a set of wiseco LNF pistons I don't see why you couldn't just throw on an lnf head and be done with it.

the only thing is if you want to stroke it out your going for huge power but can a crank designed for a 171 hp engine take that power?

According to the gm build book the crank will hold 500+ hp.
Also I will be doing calculations tommorow for ro length.
There is one snag the rods for the LE5 are slightly shorter than the LNF rods. An the rod pins are different sizes. So we may need custom rods for this application.
