Well as much as I could without removing the bumper.

It gets hard when the only tools you have are screwdrivers and some channel locks. >=[
So if anyone is in the Ft. Hood/Killeen area who is willing to lend a hand and some tools, its greatly appreciated.

Side question: could a hole in the rubber hose on the cold side connecting to the IC cause the same issues?
If your talking about the coldside pipe on the intercooler having a hole in it and if it was big enough yes it would cause this issue as well. You really need to get the car jacked up somehow and look infront so you can see if your intercooler has a huge hole in the end tank or not.

I bottomed out, doing around 5-10 MPH.
And immediately afterwards I was getting zero boost.
The codes that were read were p0101, 0420, and 0455.
The very next day, a friend of mine decided to pull the codes, which were the sameand then cleared them.
After that my car wouldn't start without the MAF being plugged in.
Took it to the dealership and they refuse to do anything because of thecar being straight piped.(previous owner.)

I would love to do a boost leak test but I have no compressor and very few tools.
Any input?

Sounds like the intercooler......so do you mean you have straight pipe exhaust? If so that shouldn't void ur warranty. Which dealership did u go to?

I was referred to Patriot Pontiac.
And once the cat is removed it voids the warranty. They offered to replace that for 1400.
I laughed, then picked up my car.

My money is on the passenger's side end tank. I'm sure it's cracked. Will be hard to see with the bumper cover on. Use soapy water.

That would only void the warranty on the down pipe not the rest of the car.

Warranty doesn't cover you bottoming out the car. So its pretty unlikely they would cover it.

As far as the not having a cat no that has nothing to do with this and it wouldn't void the warranty on anything other than problems it causes.

A friend of mine owns a shop and can get me a complete Injen IC setup for around 200.
Input?
And if I did that, would I have to order mounting brackets 'cause I'm not seeing them on the IC like you so with ZZP or MPx?

I didn't know Injen had an IC set up. But ZZP has an entire kit and you can get the higher clearance IC so it doesn't hang so low. Also, I'm not sure if GenuineSaab is still around, but they had an IC for us also.

Ok, so time for closure.
I got my hands on an Evo 8 IC for 80 bucks.
Replaced the stocker, and holy sheet. Not only did it fix every issue I was having with the car, but it feels like it is boosting more than before.

All in all, easy fix, easy install, and personally I feel like it was an easy upgrade.

Btw, this is where I cracked the endtanks.
