I have ZZP air intake mod, ZZP front mount intercooler, Megan DP and Exhaust. I do have GM S1 map sensors with plug and play in hand.

I don't know how much the ZZP PCM is, but if you're planning on re-tuning a lot then HPTuners would be a better investment. It's a larger initial investment, but you can then be remote-tuned by someone like Term2 and even learn to do your own tuning like 09 did.

I got the ZZP canned tune initially when I got the car, BIG difference from stock.

If your not ready to spend the money on HPT than I would recommend getting it. I got it on a separate PCM so I can have the stock PCM/file if I need it.

You're saying that it's better to have another PCM as a backup in case anything goes wrong ?

You can look at it that way, It can help with troubleshooting down the line if needed.

I looked at it from a warranty standpoint but it's up now. And also needed the car so I couldn't have any down time shipping the PCM out/getting it back.

That's true. Yeah, I do might need PCM for backup. Cause I am working and I do need my car. I don't know if anyone is selling stock PCM ?

Definitely agree on the separate PCMs. I have the stocker, an HPT, and a Trifecta PCM.

ZZP normally has them.

You just tell them your keeping your core and pay the charge
