i replaced my shift linkage/cables in my garage yesetrday. Its relativly easy. Just takes time. My linkage was really bent. I'll get a picture up shortly.

I've popped mine off without breaking it. But if ZZP made a proper kit at a reasonable price I would pick it up just to be safe.

Yeah me to. If the took the cable and heat treated it somehow. Made it stronger.
