ehhhh I don't know about that one man. Maybe cruising, but not after a long 3rd-4th gear pull. I'm specifically talking about the stock turbo tuned over 22psi btw.

I'd love to see a log to prove me wrong though, because I know none that I have seen support it..

I'll see if I can dig one up. I still owe you the 40lbs VE on stock turbo log too. I seriously never have that laptop while I'm on here.

I've seen some crazy claims by others on here a while back that claimed to have seen iat2's BELOW ambien at wot WITHOUT a sprayer bar or meth, which is quite franky just flat out rediculous no matter how big the ic. Like others have said, it's well worth the upgrade just to simply get rid of the plastic end tanks though.

I have to disagree. like 09 said above, without spraying the charge with meth/h2o. When I first start mine up, yea the reading is below ambient sometimes on the RPD but it doesn't stay that way. I have a TR8 IC on mine and ambient +5 is what I see at cruise. At a road course it is about what Wangspeed is seeing, ambient +30 +/- on my ehtanol tune running about 24/25psi boost.

Side note. I have seen below ambients on a vehicle, but that was a friend's truck. When I was into my 6.5 diesel in my suburban he and I did meth/h2o and and intercooler sprayer (by the way a 6.5 didnt come with an IC) on his 2500 pickup. but that temp reading was taken without a load (no railer, nothing in the bed) on flatground. As soon as you breath on the loud pedal the temps go up. Granted that is on a diesel, but the intercooler on that thing was MASSIVE. IATs were measured in the beginning of the intake manifold, right behind the charge pipe coupler.

I had to look at mine, I have one with 41lbs at the MAF (relocated to coldside pipe) but its not VE readings. Thought it was for a minute but before I posted it I wanted to check. Seeing as how my car flows really well and I am almost at sea level, and at the time of the log it was at night in the winter, I don't think the VE could get much higher than 30lbs +/- a few.
