Zzp stg 1 cams
to install these you have to pull the head right with the retainers? when i did my build i just put the ZZP #78 springs in because there was not talk of doing cams at the time and since im on stock cams there was not need for retainers.
i would love to see how these cams would do on your s252 or 256 since i will be running a 5857 which is kindve similar
I'll be patient for the stage 2 cams. I think after my compound build, which will be in 2 months anyway................I'll be able to wait for the bigger cams for several months!

by the way Zoomer, with this stage 1 cams, will you guys hold a CORE program or some sort? If so, how much will it cost for the stage 1 cams, if you guys get the stock cams from a buyer?
Thanks!
yeah tell me about it! lol
but this is how it goes in this COMMERCIAL world!
Price is high, if the commodity is wanted. It goes down, if its not needed.
ZZP in my opinion, has the right to sell these cams for whatever price they want, since they did a lot of R&D and money on these cams. They're the only company who offers these cams.
Unless there's another company out there who sells aftermarket cams, then ZZP is the only choice.
Do I hear a group buy?

I'm would to be curious to know how many of the whiners that wanted the cams available seperate are dropping the money on them now that they made them available.
so I think they'll be releasing these cams sooner or later.....
prices will be very competitive, once that happens......
But they need to have to support their power claims though...........just like what ZZP provided us
Some other company will just buy the ZZP cams copy them and re-sale them for cheaper.
Thats how it always works out in the performance world as far as camshafts go.
Very very easy to copy and re-badge as joe blows cams, unfortunatley.

^this. Grinding cams is not that expensive if you have the set measurements. You will see cams pop up soon for under $500 and they'll be suspicously the same dimensions as ZZPs.
I ordered them. They are in the mail as we speak, Thank you ZZP. If this weekend is nice, They will be goin in. Does anyone know the Torque specs for the cam gear bolt and the caps off hand?
