ZZP upper intercooler pipe questions

Just purchases this item and very excited to get it installed. From what I read it seems almost no gains come from this mod?

Questions:
Any HP gains? 1-5 HP?
Does the turbo spool faster?
Do you get any noticeable sound changes?
Should I re-tune?

Yeah it's not really a hp mod at all, helping spooling mod maybe

Did you buy the silicone couplers with it? It makes it that much easier to install

Instead of cutting the stock plastic rings off

 

I Got the pipe and clamps that's it. Man that's impressive if it doesnt ad HP... GM made some really good factory piping. Did you update your Trifecta Tune after you installed?

 

helps with turbo spool, at least I felt it did. and yea theres some sound change with it. You can hear the turbo spool just a tad bit more.

it sounds like a NO but should i get re-tuned?

 

I don't see any reason why you would need a tune change, but you might be better off getting your tune logged and checked just to be sure. It's more of a reliability/appearance mod.
