02 Bung Question

Ok well Im going to be taking the car to the local muffler shop in alittle to get a 02 bung welded in for my wideband guage I know I need to get the bung welded before the cat but does it matter where I have the weld it before the cat?

Do I asked them to weld it close to the exhaust manifold flange or close to the cat or in the center between the flange and the cat?

Help I dont want to have them weld it in and find out down the road I had it welded in the wrong place.

My O2 bung on my downpipe is welded right between the header/manifold flange and cat.

You should have no prob getting an accurate reading from there.

This is where zzp put my bung on their midlength combo downpipe. Obviously the one before the cat with the bung plug in it

Ok now you have a 02 sensor on your exhaust manifold thats on the driverside of the car, did you get the wideband 02 bung welded on the passengerside of dp?

Ok, I have been looking into this reading about it all day long and it seems like everything that i read it tells me that i need to weld the wideband 02 bung not in line with the 02 sensor bung. So yea that would mean that my wideband 02 bung would need to go on the passengerside of my downpipe,

But now heres the question it says that the bungs need to be in the 10 o clock and 2 o clock position
now my 02 sensor bung is in the 10 o clock position but I dont think that I have the room in the 2 o clock position for the wideband 02 bung because my dp flex took a **** and I had a flex joint welded in place of it, so is it going to hurt anything if I would weld the wideband 02 bung in the 3 o clock or 4 o clock position?
