Arrow 06 Cobalt SS/SC Start Up Problem

Alright.

I just got myself a 06 Cobalt SS/SC.
Got it damaged. Not to bad just replace some front end parts.

But anyways. No engine damage. Everything seems normal and fine. But when it comes time to start, it doesn't start. So I used my neighbors OBDII scan tool. Scanned and this is what i got:

- P0230 Fuel Pump Primary Circuit

- P0449 Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit Intermittent

Fuel pump is bad?...i heard that sometimes when a car gets in an accident, the fuel pump shuts off?...and that theres a button to turn it back on?. Dont know if thats true. I checked Fuses and Relay. (they good) Miles on the car is 45k. If someone can help me out. Maybe some advice?...Im kind of a noob with the Cobalt. Bare with me lol.

Btw. I lovin the car. (got bored of my A4)

I would check/replace the relay and fuse for the fuel pump first. As far as I know the cobalt fuel pump does not have to be "turned back on" after an accident.

When you turn the key right before starting do you hear the fuel pump kick on

When you say doesn't start.. do you mean nothing happens when you turn the key or it cranks just doesn't kick on and run?

the car was front end damage. Rear end is good. The radiator is not on and i believe there is no coolant inside but im just trying to get it to start up. What i mean by doesnt start is it cranks and doesnt start up. I checked the fuses a couple times already and they fine. Is the fuel pump bad already?....

Radiator = Must and you definitely NEED coolant. My friend's Durango just **** the bed because he didn't have any coolant. My advice, put the radiator on and add in coolant, then bring it to a somewhat reputable shop and have it thoroughly inspected.

I'm thinkin if it was in an accident there's got to be some kind of safety feature somewhere to keep it from starting back up...I would check the fuel system thourohly, could be a broken or bad fuel pump, maybe a kinked fuel line? Maybe an accident sensor on the front of the car that doesn't let it start back up?

Also check the fuel selenoid, it could of gotten damaged or disconnected in the accident, that may stop the car from starting.

My car has a bad fuel selenoid, everytime I fill my gas tank up my car starts then stalls multiple times, I have to start it and rev it a few times until it idles by itself

Just throwin **** out there
