Angry 06 SS boost control solinoid

I have A 2006 SS/SC I have posted because of the 3 PSI my SC is putting out. Is there a way that I can test the Boost control solinoid to see if thats the problem?

you could do the boost bypass mod...and see if that makes any difference.

what happens when you take the hose off? does it mean it will go into boost the whole time?

I took the hose off and it immediatly started boosting over 10 psi. I havent pushed it because I figure since the hose is off it might over boost and I will do damage to the engine. But since its boosting I now know its the solinoid.

I have ordered the boost bypass valve from the dealer. Is it plug and play or do I have to have the ECU re flashed?
