Can I use an 07 head on my 06 lsj with no problems just swapping it over?

07 lsj head yes.
05 06 07 have the same engine.

I thought I remember something being different with the heads.. Maybe was the 2.2. So I'm good to use an 07 head correct?

yes. tjolley is correct. You should check the rockers to make sure they are fine...and the head for true on the surface

might want to go ahead and replace the timing chain tensioner. If you were **** about it, I would just go ahead and use a new timing chain assembly (timing chain, cam gears, tensioner)
