0w30

Well I did a search on this and only found post that just mentioned it but really said nothing about it. I would like to know how people feel about 0w30 motor oil. I have never used it, but I am seeing it more and more on the shelves. I do my own oil and know my way around cars so I would just like some opinions on how it will work if at all on the cobalt SS super charged.

I see you're in Texas. That means 0W30 is a waste of money for you. To put it simply, the 0, 5 or 10 that comes before the 30 indicate how well the oil will flow when cold. 5w30 stays liquid down to -32c (-26f)and 10w30 stays liquid down to -18c (0 farenheit).

0w30 is made for harsher winter climates.
