I have a buddy that was going to custom fab a adapter plate for a 1.9l blower for our cars but I decided to go turbo instead so he never started the project.

The 1.9L blower is still a work in progress.

I was just trying to make the point that if you're making excessive heat with the TVS, a bigger blower is not the remedy; engine modification is. Blower efficiency aside, a stock 2.0 LSJ is only going to be able to take so much air.
Indeed. A ported head is in the works for this winter. I'm also toying with the idea of making a air/air setup for my car as well.

hmm.... MP TVS1900... yes... fun...

initial testing yielded 23 psi on a 3.6" pulley, 18* @ 12.0 afr on a 7gph 90/10 mix
Was unfortunately cut short before I could throw a 10gph on and get some dyno graphs.

I'm wanting to try it out. But I'm just up in the air still.

I'm going to try it on a big boy motor though. Probably much less boost because of much less restriction, and no worries about breaking anything. I'm also not going to hurt the setup by using a stock intake.

He can't, Kevin took the 1.9L blower kit back from him a while back.

Yea, kevin is still being real shady about the whole thing. He seemed to be excited about producing the kits again when I first called him a couple months ago, but now he's hard to get ahold of and he keeps saying it's going to take a few more weeks/months.

this thread is still a big lol every time it pops up. for the price of any supercharger upgrade and supporting mods, you can have a turbo with lots more torque/power

yea, I'm thinking of just giving up on the idea and doing something else. At least I got 12 months to figure out what power adder I'm going to use. I'm working on the internals in the mean time.

so aparently some people didn't read the entire thing, this isn't a T/C>S/C or S/C>T/C thread. Its just a feeler pretty much. And its got a TON of great info on S/C's in it. If you prefer turbo then go for it. Some people like S/C better. I'm staying S/C b/c i live in NYC right now and never have room to wrap a T/C up. But the S/C is right there (Esp when cabbies are being stupid lol) i'm not trying to bash you man just saying there is no point in posting that. This is great info for alot of guys. ESP those that just don't like turbo. I personally LOVE the sound of a BOV but thats neither here nor there.
