yeah right now without the plugs i am knocking and i will have my plugs tomorrow thanks for the help

 

i just put my plugs in but when i got to about 6 grand and below 2 grand my interceptor showed that i had some know retard i dont know if it was really knocking or if it is just from my motor and trans mounts and i gap the plugs at .38

anyone have any ideas

 

i do not know if this will help but you could tighten the plug gap up a little. try 35 and see if that helps.

Replacing plugs alone will not get rid of knock. Most people say that they recommend gapping the plugs from .40 to .38. The only time that you really need to be worried about knock is when you are at WOT and yes you will get knock when you are in 4th gear at 35-40mph and you put it to the floor.

 

i was in 2nd at wot and when i got to 6 grand it stared knock and i didnt try again it could have just been my gauge

 

i did another 2nd gear pull again and it did not not knock at all
