I think you'll do it. Either that or have a crazy high trap speed at a high 13. My main concern isn't the tires so much as getting adjusted to the new power and clutch. Good luck.

I felt the Exedy today in two different cars both cobalt ss. One was Nicks and the other was Oscars. It a heavy clutch with a shitload of spring to it.Gonna take a little getting use to for sure.

So i got two options
I can have nick do the install and not turn on the meth so i can get it back to put a few miles on the clutch. This would be a pain due to having to drive back out again to get tuned for a few hours.

Or just leave it there and have him put some miles on it and finally be able to get on it and tune it for meth.

Think i am just gonna leave it there but it will be there for a good week and a half.

Driving it back and forth to work is 100 miles a day. We plan on starting the install tonight and should have it done by Thurs/Fri (everything installed). If you wanted me to put the miles on it, I would say next weekend it will be ready for you. If you want to do the miles, you can take it this weekend and bring it back next. Up to you, you know Ill do w/e you want

Just tried to txt you but would assume your phone is still off. Go ahead and put the miles on and get her tuned for meth. I need her by the latest the 10th so i have 5 days of driving it around until track day at atco on the 15th.

I am assuming that you are grinding down your calipers to fit the 15's? I don't see why you won't hit your goal. I'm rooting for you. Good luck

Oh my goal on street tires is a 12.9 but my goal on slicks is around a 12.5 to 12.7.
BYT Made some progress last night. I know for sure my supercharger was taken off to get the new meth plate installed. Other than that not sure what else he has gotten done.

Looks like front brakes and rotors are shot along with the rear brakes as well so that will be getting replaced. Apparently there is a issue with the meth plate not sitting flat. Sure Nick will chime in and let everyone know what is going on with the build.

Appreciate it, Waiting on a update from nick myself when he gets a chance. Apparently there was some issue with the ZZP M62 plate not laying flat or something last time we spoke, so not 100% sure whats going on at this point. Believe he should be finished this weekend with the install cause i might just go pick it up and slap some miles on myself and bring it back for the meth tuning.

No i got the car back today. I unfortunately had to put a rush on my car since my fiancee father ruined his trans in his truck. Nick called me a few hours later and told me it was done.It is not running meth yet but the exedy, dual pass, oil change,ZZP M62 Meth Plate, brakes and rotors all around and a few other things where completed.

Clutch feel nice but a little rough getting use to out of 1st. Not as stiff as i thought it was gonna be and quite pleasant to drive. Going to put around 700 miles on it and head back up to nicks to finally dump some meth in it and retune. Nick is busy for a few weeks so as soon as i get the miles on and he is available we will finish it up.

Will be running it without meth and slicks on April 15th at Atco Raceway. Really want to see the difference between adding slicks first and then meth.

Looking to pull a 1.7-1.8ish 60' with the slicks on as well.

You think you will manage to beat hatrickstu? That would be awesome if you did. He ran a 12.75 on slicks. I forget all the information on that run but I know he ran that. If you manage to run in that area it gives me some hope on my car. LOL. I've been looking at your videos and everything, I can't stand running my horrible times.

It's going to take more than one track day to pull a 1.7/1.8 sixty. Good luck.

Oh i usually try and get out at least 4 times a month so i am sure it will get better as i go. Never been on slicks yet so it will definately be a new experience. Going to launch with the wotbox and will test various rpm launching points to see what works the best.

Clutch has 350 miles on it so far since yesterday and will be putting another 100ish on it tonight when i go out. Decided i am going to put 600-700 miles on the clutch before i start romping on it.

Also need to check with nick when he is available again so we can finally tune for meth and find out what the wotbox issue is.

Track day is scheduled for the 15th so results will be posted then unless i get miles on her pretty quickly then i might go twice that week.

I had those exact same slicks on my car, my third pass on them I pulled a 1.828 60 ft. Of course my WOT box was giving me issues and it stalled the car after misfiring terribly.

That was in 45 degree weather. I have no doubt that if he uses a 2-step and launches it hard he will get a 1.8 something 60ft within his first few passes (in some warmer weather).

Yeah i have no idea what i am gonna run or what kind of 60's i will get. Pretty much just looking to beat my previous time and my old best 60' of 2.003. Clutch has 511 miles on it so far and i have 122 miles to get to BYT.

I can tell the car is going to be harder to launch with the new clutch for sure so its going to be interesting. Going to finally NLS the car to see what it will do and look forward to pretty consistant 60ft with the WOTBox as well.

Track is open today but unfortunately it raining tonight so thats definately a no go.

Not to much longer to go until the balt makes it down the track. Another 6 days to go. First day at the track will be all street tires and no meth. BYT and I will be getting together on the 30th to tune for the meth, so until then the meth tank will be dry.

My rims are on backorder so i cant run those either. Would be nice to see some numbers before and after slicks so i am not complaining to bad, just kind of stinks have a set of new slicks setting here but no rims to slap them on with.

Anyways will post results on friday from the track.

Got the WOTBox issue resolved so i will be launching with the box and nls from 2nd to 3rd.
