1st Oil Change HELP

ok guys i am new to this. ive only had my balt ab 2 months. but im coming upo on an oil change. and some of you may think this is dumb. but is there anything i nned to know? do you change just the engine oil? does the sc run off of the same oil? does it use its own oil and if so do i change it too and how? much help would b appreciated

s/c is self contained and uses a completely different fluid..... and doesn't "require" servicing, but we all know better than that.... but it does go long intervals without needing changed.

oil change is simple.... and if you don't know already the filter is a cartridge type on the top of the engine. Go to the how-to section for a good write up.

so what is the sc fluid and how do i get to it?

2: Once a while has expired, then what? If we eventually need to **** with it,
then its good to know ahead of time. Espessaly since anyone running under a 3.3" pully is probably going to get to "a while" sooner then the stock setups.

holyshit 7 quarts? I havent changed my own yet due to have a few free oil changes from the dealer. I was going to change the oil this weekend. Guess i will go back and get another quart christ....

You can download one to PDF free from Chevy's website, go to the owner's center and sign up. It does require you to have a yahoo.com login though. Descent site though.
