2.0 lsj stuff in 2.2
short answer....no
you would need the LSJ crankshaft too, and they have different reluctor wheels (i think thats what theyre called?) than the L61, so it wont work electronically. You can use the LSJ pistons if you have a custom set of rods made, or the LSJ rods if you have a custom set of pistons made. Regardless, you'll be buying some custom aftermarket parts, so its cheaper to just order a set of L61 forged parts

In this tread is says you can. and in the build book it say the rods definatly will work. The lobes are the same size on both cranks.

Ok, that would make sense why the 2.2 parts aren't interchangeable with the 2.0 ones, but what stops the whole rod/pin/piston assembly from working?

LSJ 86mmx86mm
L61 86mmx94.6mm
The crankshaft throw determines the stroke of the engine, not the lenght of the rods or wrist pin location. If you want to use LSJ internails then you have to use the crank, rods, and pistons. Assuming that your goal is to destroke the L61.

if they work individually, why won't they work together? just curious. I don't have experience or knowledge with the L61 stuff like you do.

Looks like Maven said the same thing. Maybe the rods just dont work at all..?
EDIt: nvm...it has to do with each piston using a different pin height and having a different rod length

IE: you cant put LSJ pistons and rods in an L61 You cant put LE5 pistons and rods in an LNF, you cant put L61 rods/piston in an LSJ
In order to mix/match pistons and rods amongst the engine you need to use one stock part and one custom part. for eample if you wanna put LSJ rods in an L61( a reasonable upgrade) youll need to get custom pistons made.
