I am using the heat exchanger, I have the cobalt addiction heat exchanger for now with a dual pass. After a few months I am going to upgrade to a front mount.

Does not say how many hours, just really depends lol. We are taking are time on the install making sure everything is right so it is going to take us a little bit longer. Also it is spread out because I only had one day planned while I was home for a weekend and wont be home until the 10th again to finish it up, but a buddy of mine Sunburst SS is going over today and doing a little work helping me out. What a good buddy, I guess hes as excited as I am and trying to get it up and running to lol. Thanks man.

ok......a few fitment issues with the kit, but making progress...here are a few updates.

Powdwer coated valve cover for fun.

Got them 60's in there now

Idler pulley set up

Kinda looks like a little space ship or something, doesn't it? haha

wastegate dump, kinda hits on the intermediate shaft a bit though...

turbo and downpipe

Exhaust all the way down (downpipe flange and 2.5" exhaust flange don't match, have to drill the hole a little maybe)

And ummm. there's me working on the beast.

Looking good man. HAHA Sunburst looks like you work for Chevy or Nissan? Thats the way the local ones uniforms look like.

How'd you take the picture? Tripod or have someone stand there all day and take pictures? I personally use a tripod that way no whining and I get the shots how I want them.

Hmmm... the dump tube pipe hitting is not satisfactory at all. I would rather have the pipe feed back into the downpipe or have an internal wastegate setup. Also, was it needed to specify what size the downpipe needed to flange to or is that just the way it'll come? Either way, I'm sure Mase/Jim will take car of it for you guys.

You going to bend in the wastegate dump piping a little to allow some space between it and the shaft? With the engine movement you know there will be movement. But that would leave a object in front of the air flow.

What ideas do you have to work around that one problem?

Well it looks if an inch was taken out before the bend on the dump tube that it would clear it. Personally I would have a hole made in the downpipe and have the dump tube feed into it. That's just me though.

Dude that kit looks great, I am looking at the same exact one for my ride, I am just gonna get the front mount and tunning done right away. Keep me posted on how its going!!!

Looks like a serious kit and it will perform I'd say with 20 psi 300+ whp shouldn't be a problem. Oh and are ya gonna do any head work for a higher redline. When I do my build I wanna have a 7.5-8k redline, I wonder if thats doable. Let me know

SWEET, I'd love an 8k redline so when I shift to next gear i drop to like 5k or so and still in power band and hauling. Looking forward to this build being done so I can what puts out gl with the last of the install.

Yeah but a lot more wear on the clutch because it will be drpping a lot more rpms between shifts. Yup 8192 is the highest we can go without getting a full standalone.
