It's not just the brake lines on the 07's. There are differences that can occur even within the same model year.

My RD Fabs intake was the original fab. They made the intake using my 06 SS/SC. Fits like a charm, 3" TB to Filter, and has been nothing but great to me since I've had it installed. Not to mention a stainless intake screams as loud, if not louder, than any other intake on the market.

Anywho, my buddy JohnnySasakiMGS bought the intake for his 06 SS/SC and his brake lines are slightly higher than mine in the engine bay and we had to play with his intake more for fitment. In order for both of ours to fit perfectly, one of the three bolts used to hold the wire loom along the frame behind the headlight had to be taken out. Mine was the center one; however, Paul's car had less clearance with the one the was closest to the fender. Each car seems to have slight variables in small build aspects around the engine bay regardless of year. That's what makes it so tough to build an intake that's 3" or larger because of how close it comes to everything. Just make sure you test on multiple cars, that's all I'm saying. Good luck!

yea I was considering going with that intake but was waiting to see if there was other options out there. I just wish they would sell it with a dry flow filter over the K&N filter

I think it would be nice if they could sell one without a filter seeing alot of us have a filter. That could cut a good 30-40 bucks off the price.

that would be a good idea but i plan on selling my K&N when i get this intake and it would be alot easier if it had an airfilter included instead of the buyer having to buy one. They should just make it an option in like a drop down box whether or not to include a air filter, like they do on ZZP's website.

I would be interested for sure. Under 300, good gains, and bangin fitment and I'll buy one for sure. Would it be just polished, or would you be able to do em in a black finish also for those of us that like the stealth look??

Did you get the SCP1 pressure (Supercharger inlet pressure) logged with the stock intake, stock intake with high flow filter and the new 3" CAI ?

We logged our standard things. There hasn't been a CEL set yet on the car.
It's running a AEM Dry Flow filter no oil to contaminate the Maff sensor.

Rebel, can you guys send me one to "test permanently" with the twinscrew since I had to do a cheap patch job on my Injen from the meth injection hole? Just kidding, but seriously I'm here if you need another tester!

I am sure if you get a good price on just the piping as long as we can use a 3.25" filter people would jump on it. I would consider it.
One of the only things I ever disagreed with you buddy. IMO oiled is better lol. To each his own, I think that is one of the biggest things on this site. dryflow or oiled. So many misconceptions about the oiled filters.

I can see them being better for catching dust and stuff yeah but when you pull the oil out and it gets on the maf then they are no good. I always had oiled filters on my z24, they worked excellent. I just didn't get one because of what everyone else said.

Heh I agree thats why I am doing a dry filter I ran an oiled k&n on my 89 z24 and never had problems but I didnt know to much about the Cobalts so like you I'd rather do Dry just to be on the safe side...
