That's already done. I don't need it. But it's good to have. My concern now is the ports between the intake ports. Can any one tell me what they are? My mani doesn't cover one of them.

 

They are nothing.Literally.You can put you finger behind them.

 

So ot is just material removed from head. There not ports for anything. So its ok that it's not covering one of those ports?.

did a lil work today.
welded alt for turbo swap.


clocked turbo and made up stainless an fittings line for the oil return from turbo.


installed alternator and routed the 4 rib 41.5 in belt.


didnt think that the sam sensor should be able to spread apart like this.

so i ordered it a few days ago and installed today.

valve cover to oil pan. shed done and ready for starter and flywheel then back on the trans.

 

first start up this weekend.

ok guys. had a very good weekend. got some good work done. here go the pics.....

 

Intake and boost controller and bov and waste gate are now final install. boost controller is over the fuse box.

and no. the charge pipes and intake do not touch. theres about .5 of an inch in between and they dont rattle or hit with engine running.

figured out were im mounting the ctach can and will plumb that all in with the new valve cover tomorrow.

things left to finish.
1. Bleed clutch
2. Finish evap connection to my brfps.
3. Connect vac for the meth kit.
4. tap intake for vac sourve for pcv system.
5. route pcv/catch can set up. (hopefully done tomorrow)
6. tune

 

pcv is routed. marked intake for the bung to be welded and that will be completed part of project. gotta bracket the line by the firewall to the firewall also.

Only thing I have is some pulleys for the TVs. I sold most of the supercharger parts for the turbo set up. So the end fame of this project is 6262 pte with meth and nitrous.

This may be due to my lack of reading.. But how did you get to a 2.2 liter?

86mm stroke (lsj crank)

 

Same here. I not 100% sure, but if your running a LSJ crank in the 2.2 block it should be a destroked back to a 2.0?

 

The 2.2 block has the same bore as the lsj.

^^^^ whats up guys. They are correct. Bates sleeves bored to 90mm 3.543". its a l61 block with lsj guts basically. I used boring to get more displacement. Custom 1 off je pistons fill the holes. well they were when i started this build.

well here is the finished pcv system. only thing left is a check valve fitting im waiting to come from summit...


also powell shipped out one of these to me this week.


powder coated fuel rail to mach my valve cover and intake manifold. ( soon to match my charge pipping also....)
