the lsj downpipe is 2.75in and necks down to 2.50in right before the flange that connects the catback.

no problem .... the stock lsj exhaust is all diff sizes. The downpipe at the flange that connects to the manifold is only 2.00" inside (but thats ok if you are running the GMPP or stock manifold), because it will maintain good exhaust gas velocity. The exit port of the stock and gmpp manifold is only about 1.75". The downpipe then opens up to 2.75" all the way to about 2" before the flange that connects it to the the catback where it necks down to 2.50". The catback is 2.50" all the way to the rear axle, but necks down to 2.25" over the axle to the muffler. It then opens up again to a 2.50" tailpipe and 4" exhaust tip. The whole exhaust system is mandrel bent, so it flows pretty decent for a stock system.
