2.2dp=2.0dp?
hey guys this is a stupid question I know but is The stock 2.2 dp the same as the Lsj dp?

um idk about half the size but it is def. smaller rusty...think about it...our cars are boosted and i dont think gm is that dumb to put an aspirated motor dp on a boosted car...they wanted to give us some extra power at least...

well they did put the same exhaust manifold on the 2.2,2.4, and lsj in 07.lol. Marq I need ur stock dp please

no problem .... the stock lsj exhaust is all diff sizes. The downpipe at the flange that connects to the manifold is only 2.00" inside (but thats ok if you are running the GMPP or stock manifold), because it will maintain good exhaust gas velocity. The exit port of the stock and gmpp manifold is only about 1.75". The downpipe then opens up to 2.75" all the way to about 2" before the flange that connects it to the the catback where it necks down to 2.50". The catback is 2.50" all the way to the rear axle, but necks down to 2.25" over the axle to the muffler. It then opens up again to a 2.50" tailpipe and 4" exhaust tip. The whole exhaust system is mandrel bent, so it flows pretty decent for a stock system.
